The importance of time has never been more important than with tender responses. Companies put time limits on tendering for work to see how you will deliver your product or service. The tender response may be the first time the customer has witnessed what your company can do.
Have you ever been late for a plane? Did they hold the plane waiting for you to board – not likely.
Why would anyone spend days, weeks or months working on a tender response and wait until the last minute to submit the response. If your one second late you have wasted all of your effort and time in preparing your response. I would hope that you value your time rather than wasting it.
